Story Time
Well obviously I bit off more than I could chew. I am not good with writing daily, so I need to change it to a weekly blog entry. You never realize how busy your life is until you try to plan something daily that was not in the plan already. Sorry for misleading you. I did have all intentions to do this daily.
Its funny really. I had this topic I wanted to blog about and now that I am sitting in front of the computer, I cannot think of what it was. I was ranting around the house about something. Now that I cannot remember it is hard to find a topic. Who knew that a talker cant think of something to talk about.
I belong to this writing group that was started by my neighbor. Her and I are the only two that have consistently been there since day one. It's a great time. We write and share in a climate that does not feel like the critique is always red pen. We laugh and giggle and carry one. Everyone has that one character that they love to write about. One is a kid not wanting to be a sultan, one is pow, one is a guy named Poot, one is guy named redneck Randy and one is a sassy girl that picks her nose and saves the boogers in a jar. They have all come alive and have become a part of the writer. We all love the other characters as if they are family.
I am the owner of the girl who picks her nose and saves the prize. It was a writing exercise where we had to pick a nasty habit and while I wanted to choose smoking, someone else chose it. So nose picker Caroline Cooper it was. She has been fun and I have learned a lot from these nights of writing. For instance she is a self help book lover, shes a klutz and has issues with her children. She is also someone who cannot boil water, even in the microwave. That is the one interesting thing. I love to cook so it has been hard not to have her love cooking. She made me very aware that she does not want to follow in my foot steps.
I tell you this because I want to include her her as I get stuff written. I would love to hear what you think. I will title the post as which installment it is with Caroline Cooper. So Caroline Cooper chapter 1. I'm excited to share. The first chapter will be my next entry. Carry on!
